Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms define the conditions of use for services provided by Mochitecture ("the Company") ("the Service"). Users shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

The Service "Mochi Solar Forecast" is a free service that provides solar power generation forecasts. It operates as a "data collaboration" service that uses data provided by users to improve forecast model accuracy.

Article 3 (Data Handling)

Power generation data uploaded by users is used for the following purposes:

• Providing power generation forecasts for the user's own facilities
• Training and improving forecast models
• Improving overall service quality

Data will not be used to identify individuals.

Article 4 (Use of Location Information)

The Service may use facility location information (latitude/longitude) in forecast models. Location information is used for matching with weather data and learning regional characteristics to provide more accurate forecasts.

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts related to criminal activities
• Acts that destroy or interfere with our server or network functionality
• Acts that may interfere with our service operations
• Acts that collect or accumulate personal information about other users
• Acts that upload false data
• Other acts that the Company deems inappropriate

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of forecast values provided by the Service. Forecast values are for reference only and may differ from actual power generation.

Decisions based on forecast values from the Service (such as power trading, facility operation planning) are made at the user's own responsibility. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages caused by discrepancies between forecasts and actual results.

Article 7 (Service Suspension/Modification)

The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if any of the following reasons are deemed to exist:

• When performing system maintenance or updates
• When provision becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, or fire
• Other cases where the Company deems suspension necessary

Article 8 (Changes to Terms of Service)

The Company may change these Terms at any time without notice to users when deemed necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect when posted on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted under Japanese law. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
