Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why can't trading be done via a screen in JEPX's new trading system?
In JEPX's new trading system, trading shifts from screen-based operations to an API-based system-to-system connection. As a result, the traditional GUI used for placing bids and confirming executions is no longer provided. To continue trading after the migration, an API-compatible solution is required.
Q. Is a JEPX dedicated line really unnecessary when using Mochi JEPX Exchange?
Yes. When using Mochi JEPX Exchange, you do not need to individually contract or install a JEPX dedicated line. Mochi JEPX Exchange provides the connection infrastructure to the new JEPX system, allowing you to connect without bearing the dedicated line costs.
Q. Can existing automated trading systems using the old JEPX API be continued?
Yes. Mochi JEPX Exchange provides a mechanism to convert the old JEPX API into the new JEPX API, enabling existing automated trading systems and workflows to continue operating after the migration.
Q. When will markets other than the spot market be supported?
Support for the spot market will be provided first. Support for the intraday market and non-fossil value trading will be added gradually in line with JEPX's new system schedule. Details will be provided as the rollout progresses.
